Barbie is now everyone from Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring to Warhol’s Marilyn thanks to French artist, Jocelyne Grivaud, who creates Barbie doll versions of famous works of art.
"My creations are inspired by famous works I have been moved by. The idea was to design transformations of Barbie and have fun at the same time. It is a way of making comparisons between different representations of women, created at different times, and Barbie, a figure with a firm hold on our imaginations."
Fun or what?
